30 – With a goal in Markham’s Saturday night win over Toronto, Thunder forward Jamie Lee Rattray secured the first 30 point (18 G, 12 A) season of her career. Drafted sixth overall by the Thunder in the 2014 CWHL draft, Rattray has recorded season totals of 21 (11 G, 10 A), 29 (13 G, 16 A), and 13 (4 G, 9 A) over the previous three seasons.
131 – Recording her 16th goal of the season in Les Canadiennes game versus Vanke on Sunday, veteran Montréal forward Noémie Marin moved into a tie with teammate Caroline Ouellette as the CWHL’s all-time goal-scoring leader with 131 career goals. The pair has both now surpassed previous CWHL goal-scoring leader, Brampton Thunder alumna Jayna Hefford (130), and will continue to push the mark further with two weekends remaining in the CWHL regular season.
1st – Recording their first career CWHL goals in the same game this past weekend was Boston Blades international defence, Sato Kikuchi, and Calgary Inferno 2017 CWHL draft pick, Taryn Baumgardt. A native of Tokyo, Japan, Kikuchi opened the Saturday night road contest versus the Inferno with her first career marker to put the Blades ahead early. Following back-and-forth action throughout the next two frames, Quinnipiac University Bobcat alumna, Baumgardt, notched her first with just seconds remaining in the second period to open up the Inferno’s lead in the eventual victory.
