CWHL, Toronto Furies Mourn the Passing of Sarah Stevenson

The Canadian Women’s Hockey League and the Toronto Furies mourn the passing of former Furies forward Sarah Stevenson.

Stevenson, 24, was drafted in the fourth round, 17th overall, in the 2015 CWHL Draft. The Toronto, Ontario, native spent one year with the Furies, appearing in 24 games, recording three points (3G, 0A).

Prior to joining the CWHL, Stevenson spent her collegiate career with the Liberty University Lady Flames.

The CWHL and the Furies send their deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be missed.
