CWHL Top Prospects: Ailish Forfar

 

With experience in both NCAA and USPORTS, Ailish Forfar offers a unique resume as a 2018 CWHL Draft Prospect.

The Sharon, Ontario native enters the draft after making an incredible mark on USPORTS in only two seasons with the Ryerson University Rams women’s hockey program. Forfar was a major part of the Rams offence, scoring 36 points (19 G, 17 A) in 45 games played.

Serving as captain in her senior season she was rewarded with OUA First Team all-star and USPORTS Second Team all-Canadian honours. She was also awarded one of the most prestigious national recognitions, the Marion Hillard Award, handed out annually to the USPORTS female hockey player who excelled both academically and within the community.

Prior to joining the Rams, Forfar played three seasons with the Dartmouth College Big Green. In 87 games with the Big Green she tallied 37 points (19 G, 18 A) and was twice named an ECAC all-academic.
