CWHL to Stream Inferno vs. Les Canadiennes Game on February 2

Toronto – The CWHL will be adding another game to their streaming schedule with the Calgary Inferno vs. Les Canadiennes game on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 5:00 PM EST.

The Saturday game will bring together 16 CWHL All-Stars playing their first weekend series since before the All-Star Break.  The importance of this series isn’t lost on either team as both look to fight for the first-place spot. The Inferno lead the league with 35 points, leaving Les Canadiennes only two points behind them with 33.

Rebecca Johnston and Brianna Decker join their teammates in Montreal after a whirlwind weekend at the NHL All-Star Game in San Jose. Johnston and Decker were invited by the NHL as showcase participants, demonstrating a skill before the NHL players would compete. Johnston was invited to demonstrate the Gatorade Puck Control obstacle completing the entire course in 35 seconds.  Decker became a weekend sensation when she demonstrated the Enterprise Premier Passer Competition and had a lower time than each of the NHL participants. Going unrecognized by the NHL, fans rallied behind Decker and created the hashtag #PayDecker which was used by thousands of fans all around the world to recognize the talent and skill she brought to the competition.

The Inferno head to Montreal on Saturday where Les Canadiennes will be waiting for their arrival. You can watch the Inferno vs. Les Canadiennes game on CWHL Live by visiting www.thecwhl.com/watch.
