2018 Top Prospects: Rebecca Leslie


A true leader and dynamic player, Rebecca Leslie has proven herself within both NCAA and international competition.

The Ottawa, Ontario native was captain of the Boston University Terriers in her senior season, becoming the first player in program history to record 20 goals (24) and 30 points (33) in the same season that year. In four full seasons with the Terrier’s she totaled 171 points (69 G, 102 A) in 139 games played.

Leslie’s incredible statistical output resulted in her being named a two-time New England Division 1 All-Star and Hockey East Second Team All-Star. Additionally, she was twice named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team and in her freshman year was a Hockey East All-Rookie.

Internationally, Leslie has been a key contributor on a variety of teams representing Canada. Most recently she was named captain for Canada’s 2018 Nations Cup roster having previously claimed silver at the 2017 competition. Leslie also scored five points  (2 G, 3 A) over five games in helping Canada win U18 gold at the 2014 U18 IIHF World Championship.
